Dr. Richardson earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas in 1984. Following his general surgery residency, Dr. Richardson joined the faculty at Baylor, where he taught, and practiced general and trauma surgery in the Texas Medical Center. Dr. Richardson received his training in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and Denver Children’s Hospital. Subsequently, he rejoined the faculty at Baylor until he entered private practice. Dr. Richardson is board certified in Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Cardiothoracic Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
